  • Central Board of Excise and Customs has announced that July 1 will be known as ‘GST Day’ and will be celebrated in all offices of CBEC.

  • India has contributed $100,000 to a United Nations fund to help developing countries actively participate in the discussion of tax issues, becoming the first country to make the contribution.

  • SIERRA ODC building is recognised as the world’s second highest ranking Green Building. (Green Buildings are designed and operated to reduce the overall impact of the built environment on human health and the natural environment.)
